Q1: What is the 'Open Spaces budget'?

A1: The Open Spaces budget is an annual grant made by Fylde Borough Council to the Freckleton Parish Council, in order that we can maintain the parks, playing fields, grass verges and buildings on behalf of FBC. The funding comes from the general rate  levied by FBC. The open spaces budget also includes a grant for the Freckleton in Bloom planting, which is undertaken by volunteers. See Freckleton in Bloom.

 Q2: What property does the Parish Council own?

 A2: The council own the following property;-

1. Rawstorne Centre

6. Guide Hut

2. Cricket pavilion

7.The Bowling Club and adjoining Land

3. Gardeners storeroom

8. The Memorial Park and playground equipment

4. Band Room

9. The Cenotaph and gardens

5. Scout Hut

 

 In addition the following properties are held in Trust;-

             1.  The land on Bush Lane Playing fields and the allotments.

             2.  The land on Croft Butts Lane allotments.
