Public Spaces Protection Orders for Dog Control
Further to the Fylde Council Consultation on Public Spaces Protection Orders for Dog Control, a sealed order for dogs on leads by direction came into force with effect from 1st October 2017.  The order requires a person to put any dog in their charge on a lead if requested to do so by an authorised officer.  Failure to comply with the order will result in a Fixed Penalty Notice of £100.  This order applies to all public places except the places listed in the schedule at the end of the order. <PSPO Notice>
